The AI assistant that lives on your desktop

Desk Genie puts a 3D character on your Mac that you call by name. It talks back in its own voice, remembers what you tell it and checks with you before it acts.

The problem

AI help still lives in a tab

01
You have to go and find it

Assistants wait in a browser tab or chat window. Getting help means stopping, switching apps and pasting in context.

02
Every assistant sounds the same

One generic voice for everyone, with no presence on your desk. Most start over when you close the window.

03
Acting for you takes trust

Useful help touches your tickets, messages and files. You need to see exactly what will run before it runs.

The product

A character that works beside you

On your desktop, all day

A 3D character stands beside your work in a click-through overlay. Drag it, resize it or hide it.

Answers to its own name

Each character has its own wake word, detected on your Mac. Say “Hey Tiffany” and start talking.

Remembers you

Facts you save and each character’s recent conversation carry across restarts and character switches.

Acts when you say so

Reminders, Apple Music, apps and files are built in. Connected tools such as Jira or Slack run after you review the call.

How it works

From a name to a finished task

You“Hey Pip, where do I start?”

You“What needs me?”
“Two things need you. Maya’s release notes are first; Support is waiting on your sign-off.”
Jira through MCP, read-only
Pip
You“Where do I even start on this migration?”
“Start small: run the old tests against the new schema. Mark what breaks. That’s your map.”
Quick action: Find a next step
Roy
You“Hey Roy, when should I stain the deck?”
“Saturday’s dry, so stain it then. Sand it Friday, and read the can first. That’s just good sense.”
Built-in web search

You“Jeannie, remind me in ten minutes about my call.”
“Done. Ten minutes, then I’ll nudge you for the call.”

Trust and control

Real actions, reviewed before they run

Connect the tools you already use

Add any MCP server or import yours from Claude Code, and give characters Skills for your workflows.

Review every call

Each tool call shows its complete arguments. Read-only tools can be always allowed. Sends and changes need approval every time, and a review expires after two minutes.

Private by default

The wake word runs on your Mac and provider keys are encrypted in the macOS keychain. Screen and app awareness stay off until you turn them on.

Ready for families

Kids mode, locked with a parent PIN, limits memory, search, tools, files, apps and screen vision.

Character Studio

Anyone can make the next character
